como: largura de pulso, frequ{\^e}ncia, press{\~a}o de trabalho

ajuste com suporte de geometria cil{\'{\i}}ndrica (tubo). Os
resultados mostraram que o aumento do tempo de tratamento e a

This work is about a study of the optimization of a plasma ion
implantation system of large-volume and high power. The vacuum
chamber used has a large volume (600 liters), which in turn
facilitates the processing of large pieces commonly used in
industrial applications and even, as in the case of this device,
the batch processing of the space satellite components. The
optimization was performed using the following settings of PIII
processing parameters, such as pulse width, frequency, working gas
pressure and current in the primary of the high voltage pulser.
Among a range of settings, three important cases that presented
better current and voltage values in support were chosen to be
applied in the implantation phase, using rectangular geometry
support and a hollow cylindrical geometry one. The measurements
carried out in samples show that the increase in treatment time
and the sample support position inside the chamber directly
influence the treatment results. In relation to treatments within
the tube, the results showed that implantation in its interior is
non-uniform; however there are improvements in chemical and
physical properties of its inner surface.",
